Founded in 1875, USJ, 12 faculties and a dozen institutes, tries to be a stimulating place for cultural and scientific research, and works on helping its students have access to an authentic culture.

Founded in 1961, USEK have 10 faculties and 4 institutes; i.e. fourteen academic high-level education programs. USEK is concerned with the modernization of administrative procedures and academic systems, and also with providing continuous training. Founded in 1960. BAU, with 10 faculties, is committed to ensuring that the processes of learning, teaching & assessment evolve to cope with the requirements of lifelong learning & to create more demanding learners, with higher expectations & aspirations Founded in 1988, BU consists of 9 Faculties and a dozen research centers, and is committed to excellence in education, research, and service to the wider community. Founded in 1987, NDU catalogue lists 73 undergraduate degrees and 19 graduate ones. Research at NDU is characterized by its interaction with industry and the community at large via its 6 research centers and its 7 faculties.
