BAU, with 10 faculties, is committed to ensuring that the processes of learning, teaching & assessment evolve to cope with the requirements of lifelong learning & to create more demanding learners, with higher expectations & aspirations Founded in 1988, BU consists of 9 Faculties and a dozen research centers, and is committed to excellence in education, research, and service to the wider community. Founded in 1987, NDU catalogue lists 73 undergraduate degrees and 19 graduate ones. Research at NDU is characterized by its interaction with industry and the community at large via its 6 research centers and its 7 faculties. Founded in 1875, ULS offers diplomas and academic certificates via 7 faculties, according to international academic standards and legal provisions as required by the Lebanese Government. Founded in 1961, UPA have 3 faculties and 2 institutes. UPA aim at educating specialists of learned persons in the field chosen having a large scientific, social and human culture (nutrition, sports, philosophy and theology, computer science, music…). Founded in 1955, HU have 4 faculties. Its units and courses are patterned after the American system of higher education such that students wishing to pursue M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. Founded in 1937, ALBA offers degrees in Architecture, Decorative Arts, Plastic Arts, Urban and Regional Planning and Audiovisual Directing. Founded in 1939, MEU have 4 faculties and offers 10 undergraduate and 5 graduate degrees. Its objective is to educate their learners and empower them to develop traits of critical thinking, creativity, and quality performance. Founded in 1997, ULF (Université LIBANO-FRANCAIS), with 2 faculties and 1 institute, is fully engaged in the development of education at the highest level of excellence to meet national needs and the latest developments. Founded in 1999, HCU have 3 colleges with 28 undergraduate and graduate programs. Its mission is to foster personal and professional excellence and the development of leadership as expressed in service to others for the common benefit of humanity. Founded in 1996, IUL have 9 faculties. Founded in 2000, AUL have 3 faculties. Students pursue majors in economics, business administration, fine arts education, mathematical statistics computer science, computer communication, graphic design, marketing, hospitality and tourism management. Founded in 2001, LIU , with 5 schools, provides the highest possible quality of higher education, training and research, in order to meet the needs of individuals and the communities and enterprises both in Lebanon and in the whole Arab world. Founded in 1983, AUCE, with 3 faculties, endeavors to give students the necessary skills and strategies that will enable them to realize their career and life goals and to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Founded in 2000, MUBS, with 3 faculties, offers its students a rich program, which emphasizes independence and responsibility enforced by a fruitful interaction and cooperation. Founded in 2000, LCU, with 3 faculties, main mission is to provide university degrees that meet the socioeconomic needs of the community and that are closely associated with scientific research. Founded in 1995, AKU, with 3 faculties, aims to encourage competence among students to meet the requiremenets of the present market in its form as well as through the aspirations of its economic agents. Founded in 2000, USF (Université Sainte Famille) have 3 faculties. Founded in 1999, MU programs are business, arts and sciences concentrations. Founded in 2000, SUC, with 2 faculties, provides an academically stimulating environment that trains undergraduate students for life, leadership and careers in an ever rapidly changing technological and multicultural world.
